Kriya’s began over a decade ago with a simple mix my mother made during a phase of new motherhood.
It helped me ferment fresh without the stress of daily grinding — something that gave me comfort when life was overwhelming.

Years later, as my husband and I looked around, we realised many homes were still relying on refrigerated batter or soda-laced shortcuts, thinking they were doing the healthy thing.

But here’s the truth we had to face:

Even homemade food isn’t healthy when it’s stored in the fridge for days.
Fermentation should be fresh — simple, natural, and light on the stomach.

That belief led us to create Kriya’s — a line of ready-to-ferment, naturally preserved mixes for idly, dosa, and medu vada — all made with clean ingredients and zero compromise.
